Perfect pastel wedding inspiration

Soft colours will add an instant elegance to any wedding, whatever the season, and this dreamy shoot featuring lots of sorbet and pastel shades is a stunning example of how you can use a soft colour palette to great effect.

Tying in with the trend of metallics, twinkling lights and mismatched glassware, this romantic styled wedding was set at the beautiful Highden Estate in Sussex and is a dreamy combination for creating a country garden celebration.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with a great team to put together this simply gorgeous styled photo shoot which shows you really how to do a romantic pastel theme really well.

Bringing together soft and complimentary colours in a country garden style, the beautifully dressed marquee sits perfectly within the walled garden venue at The Highden Estate, and the overall theme accentuates the gorgeous garden surroundings by using these stunning floral centre piece displays. I used a pallet of pale pinks, lavender and grey which were complimented by the variety of blooms and foliage used to dress the marquee by Rhubarb & Bramley, using different heights and textures to make it a bit more interesting. This was all perfectly complimented by the glass and metallic crockery and gorgeous grey table linen (supplied by Place Settings), the props and accessories (supplied by Hire Your Day) and a delicious menu from The Gourmet Chef.

The stunning bridal gown from Diane Legrand was accessorised with bespoke hair pieces from Victoria Millisime, with the brides hair elegantly swept up and stunning make up with statement eyes by Rosina Green to complete the look.  The stationery suite from Emerald Paper Design was made bespoke for this concept, using pink and grey with lace and ribbon in keeping with the theme.

All of this was perfectly captured by photographer Neli Prahova so scroll on down and let the pastel perfect inspiration take over…
